Dog and Cat Days of Summer are Here!

Let’s have some fun … and do some good, too!

THE GOOD…

If you’ve heard the woofs, chirps, meows, peeps (and more) at the Community Foundation, you know that a family of animal lovers established ARF! Animals: Respect and Friendship Fund, an endowed community-based Fund dedicated to helping animals and their human friends in Middlesex County.

This fund aids local nonprofit organizations that care for animals and funds such things as:

Shelter and comfort
Training animals and people for shared gifts of companionship
Rescue, protection and adoption
Therapy, assistance and enjoyment
Prevention of cruelty
Elderly companionship
Services for the disabled … and more.

THE FUN…

We need a MASCOT for ARF!
Love your pet? Have a great story? We want to hear your tale (tail – or fin – or feather)! Tell us why your pet is the world’s best. Tell us why you think your pet deserves to be the ARF! Fund’s Mascot for 2010-2011.

It’s Easy …

Contest details:

Tell us all about your wonderful pet and send us a photo of that Top Dog,
that Purrrfect Feline, that Fin and Friend, that Most Unusual Pet.

Special Guest William Berloni, William Berloni’s Theatrical Animals, will
join us to announce the winners and speak to the crowd about animal
  welfare and companionship.
