Matching Gifts

Many employers offer to “match” donations their employees and retirees make to nonprofit organizations such as Middlesex County Community Foundation. The value of your contribution can be doubled or tripled in some cases. Some match $10,000 or more, so with very little effort, you can help twice as much!

Here’s How...

• Simply contact the Personnel or Human Resources Department of your company and ask if they have such a program, hundreds of companies – large and small – have one.
  
  
• If the answer is "yes" just ask for a matching gift form. Some companies even offer the form online for your convenience.
  
  
• Fill in the Employee section of the form, sign it, and mail it to us with your donation or, if you've made your contribution online, simply complete the form, sign it, and mail to:

  Middlesex County Community Foundation
  Matching Gifts
  211 South Main Street
  Middletown, CT 06457

• We will complete our section of the form and submit it to your employer's matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to the Foundation.
