Colter Abely Fund featured on FoxCT’s “Mommy Minute” with Sarah Cody

Funds, News

Colter Abely had three passions in life – wrestling, golf, and his family and friends. After his tragic death in a car accident, his parents, Chaleen and Brian Abely established the Colter Abely Achievement Fund at the Community Foundation of Middlesex County in 2012. The Fund supports the wrestling programs at Xavier High School and Middletown High School as well as providing an annual education award for a graduating wrestler at each school.

Brian and CFMC’s President & CEO Cynthia Clegg recently talked about Colter’s legacy and the Fund with FoxCT’s Sarah Cody on the “Mommy Minute.” You read the story on FoxCT’s website HERE as well as the article on the Hartford Courant’s website HERE.

Every summer, friends, family and associates gather in Portland to play in the Colter Classic, a golf tournament which supports the Colter Abely Achievement Fund. Information about the Golf Tournament can be found HERE and information about the Colter Abely Achievement Fund can be found HERE.
