The Board of Directors and staff of the Community Foundation of Middlesex County would like to thank everyone who supported the annual celebration of “Good People Doing Great Things.” The 2015 Event Committee and the CFMC Development Committee put their heads and hearts
into preparing a fabulous week of high stakes celebration this year. They raised the odds and added a new event, the Patrons’ Party, providing a special, sneak peek evening to preview the fun to come at the annual party aboard the Becky Thatcher followed by the performance of “Guys & Dolls” at the Goodspeed Opera House. Thanks to your support, together, we contributed to the ongoing mission of CFMC to help improve the lives of those in Middlesex County – now and in the future.
The week of celebration began with a cocktail party at the home of Deb and Roy Moore in Killingworth. Thanks to the generous support of the Carlson Family Foundation and the Moores, the Patrons’ Party established a new tradition of celebration while providing friends and sponsors a sneak peek at the terrific auction items up for bid later in the week aboard the Becky Thatcher.
On Friday, the annual cruise event began with a delightful cocktail and summer picnic aboard the Becky Thatcher. The evening’s entertainment included a silent auction featuring special packages celebrating the wonders of Middlesex County. Guests disembarked at Goodspeed Landing for the thrilling production of “Guys & Dolls”.
