A Champion of the Community, Arthur Director

We all lost a community champion when Arthur (Art) Director passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Art led quietly by example, both in his business life and in his community service life. A long-time supporter of our youth, Art gave of his time and his considerable talent to art-director_wensure children have every advantage possible to succeed today, and well into the future. The Board of Directors and staff of the Community Foundation of Middlesex County extend their deepest condolences to the Director family and to the community.

Art, his wife Edythe, and their family believed deeply in the community and in the organizations that work tirelessly to support our youth. The Community Foundation is honored that Art and the Director family chose to work through CFMC to support the community at large as well as six (6) organizations which represent their passion for empowering our youth. Contributions may be made to the Director Family General Community Fund or to any one of the specific designated funds established by the family to support nonprofit organizations and educational awards:
