Accepting the award on behalf of CFMC and Middlesex County, Cynthia Clegg, President & CEO, remarked,
“Together we believe that Middlesex County can be even better than it already is. With our donors, we put passion to work to improve the quality of life for all in Middlesex County by investing in the programs and services which make our community a great place to live, work and play.”
The Community Foundation, which came into existence in 1997 through the dedication and hard work of leaders throughout Middlesex County, has provided 1,815 grants totaling more than $5.4 million.
“The Community Foundation thanks all of you in this room and all of our colleagues for your commitment and for this incredible honor,” Cynthia stated. “We put your passions to work, helping you make an impact every day in Middlesex County- making certain that people of all ages learn to read, that people are fed and housed, that the arts flourish, that our environment is preserved and so much more.”
