McHale, Carl Join CFMC

CFMC welcomes two new staff members

Paula McHale

The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members.

Paula McHale has been named the new Director of Finance. Paula brings more than thirty years of experience, mostly in the corporate field, to the position.  Paula states

“I was looking for a smaller organization and an opportunity to be involved in a non-profit.”

The location is ideal on a personal level for Paula who resides in Middletown with her husband, Scott. The two enjoy spending their weekends at the beach with their four-legged babies, including three dogs and two cats!  Paula says

“I’m really excited to be here at the Community Foundation because it allows me to have a greater connection to my community.”

Kristin Carl

Our second new hire is Kristin Carl. She is the Communications Coordinator and grew up in Middlesex County.

“Killingworth is my hometown” she says and “now I’m fortunate to have an opportunity to work where I put down roots.”

Although this is Kristin’s first time in the nonprofit sector, she has a rich background in journalism.

“I spent the first fifteen years of my career as a Television News Producer and although I’m grateful for my time in that role, it was time for a change.” Kristin adds, “when I became a mother, I craved an environment that would allow me to make a difference in the community and to set a good example for my children. The Community Foundation is a place where I can work and grow not only as a professional, but as a mother as well.”

Kristin looks forward to connecting the dots from her past to the present.
