There are so many things that make up a vibrant community, from arts and culture, education and the environment to health and social services, civic engagement, and economic opportunity. You, along with your neighbors, are the key ingredient – giving back where you live, work, and play, and making a very real and positive difference together. The Killingworth Community Fund (KCF), as a geographic affiliate of the Community Foundation of Middlesex County (CFMC), is able to make a deeper impact in the Killingworth community because your generous gifts are pooled with those of so many others throughout Middlesex County.
Thanks to you and so many of your friends and neighbors who support the Killingworth Community Fund at the Community Foundation, 2020 is off to a great start. The Killingworth Community Fund is pleased to announce five (5) organizations were awarded year-end grants through the Community Foundation’s competitive application cycle. KCF awarded $8,500.00 to Killingworth nonprofits, with an additional $5,478.00 awarded through other Funds at the Community Foundation, resulting in almost $14,000 invested in the community.
The Killingworth Community Fund committee members Joan Gay, Cathy Iino, Ed Lusk, Mary Anne Lisk, Mary Meixell, Annie Stirna, and Wally Jones are pleased to congratulate the following organizations on their grant awards:
We know that wanting to do good things comes in all ages, all sizes, and all interests. KCF appreciates your generous support and looks forward to continuing its good work for “All Things Killingworth.”
