Day 9: Arts

Back to 15 Days of Giving

Taking Art to Heart – We all need it – Art enriches our lives in so many ways

Middlesex County boasts a dynamic arts scene – theatre, music, visual arts, painting, poetry, and so much more. There is something for everyone!Arts

Looking for something to do – Connecticut and Middlesex County have some great places to start! Consider visiting the City of Middletown Arts & Culture Office’s Facebook Page – they are keeping an extensive list of events there – or Shoreline Arts Alliance for ways to tap into artistic opportunities in our own neighborhood.

Perhaps you want to support young musicians or fund a local museum? Maybe you love live theater or local galleries? Middlesex County has so much to choose from!

We know that the arts help develop lifelong skills such as analytical thinking, collaboration, and creativity – and it’s just plain fun!

Thanks to you and your generosity, we have celebrated and supported the arts through the Arts Fund, the Butler Friends and Family Fund for the Creative Arts, the Hap Merrick Endowment for the Community Music School, and so much more!
