Virtual Lunch and Learn Workshop: Techniques for the “What Ifs” in Uncertain Times

April 30, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join CFMC Board Member/Nonprofit Resource Center Consultant Tom Gezo for Techniques for the “What Ifs” in Uncertain Times

There seems to be news every day that can impact and create challenges for your nonprofit organization.

How do you get your arms around it all and plan for the future in these uncertain times?

In this webinar, Tom will cover 2 techniques that can help identify and address the “what ifs” facing your organization.

Risk management is an organized approach to identifying, prioritizing, and planning for things that might happen.

Scenario planning is a technique that is very useful to have in your tool kit. It allows you to develop likely scenarios and plans in an organized way, taking possible future events into account.

The Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to Wednesday, April 30.

Tom Gezo is a certified project manager and nonprofit coach. He serves on the CFMC Board of Directors and offers his knowledge and expertise to local nonprofits through the CFMC Nonprofit Resource Center. During the workshop, Tom will provide background and context for risk and uncertainty and work through examples to illustrate the techniques for dealing with both.

Tom is the founder of TGBC: TGezo Business Consulting, LLC, a consulting practice with expertise in strategic planning, organizational alignment, and project execution. Before launching TGBC, Tom worked in the High Tech/Software industry at IBM and Dassault Systemes Americas. He has worked in a variety of leadership roles throughout his career including PMO, project and program management, business development, pricing and contracts.
