The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is happy to support Compassion Counts: Understanding & Supporting the Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming Community.
Come down to Chapman Hall at Middlesex Community College for an informative evening! Resources and supports for families and allies of the transgender and gender non-conforming community will be offered. An important discussion, not to be missed!
Join this Community Conversation to listen and learn from each other while working together to support wellness with meaningful action.
The Conversation features Key Note Speaker Tony Ferraiolo, Certified Life Coach, Trainer & Advocate for Transgender Youth: “Top Ten Things Your Transgender Patient Needs You to Know,” as well as a panel including Kathryn Tierney, APRN BC-FNP, Medical Director at Middlesex Health Transgender Program, Angel Roubin, PsyD, Psychologist at Middlesex Hospital Center for Behavioral Health, and transgender and gender non-conforming individuals and their families and allies.
Light refreshments will be served from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
