Join neighbors, friends, and local nonprofits for an informative evening about Integrative Medicine and how it can help in your healing and recovery, and restore compassion and self care in your
life. Learn how integrative medicine differs from traditional medicine.
Key Note Speaker
Tracey Sondik, Psy.D., a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Connecticut Valley Hospital and co-chair of the CVH Integrative Medicine committee and state-wide Integrative Medicine collaborative.
The forum also includes a panel of knowledgeable experts including
- Dr. Michael Kalinowski, American College of Lifestyle Medicine and Family Physician dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the community.
- Chaplain Dennis McCann, Head of the Spiritual Care Dept. at Middlesex Health and the Middlesex Health Center for Mindfulness and Compassion. He is especially interested in exploring how different modes of spirituality can enhance our lives.
- Kelvin Young, Sound Healer. Kelvin presents around the country and shares his story of finding freedom from alcohol and drugs and facilitates group sound healing sessions for holistic stress management.
Light refreshments will be provided from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
