A new free service through the CFMC Nonprofit Resource Center – The Doctor Is In.
As nonprofit businesses, we all know how important the day to day/back room/strategic and organizational planning and implementation is to ensuring our programs and services stay on mission. We also know that sometimes it can be a little lonely when you are working on a problem, or thinking a new, bright idea through to its conclusion, or just making sure all of those reports and plans accurately reflect the great work you are doing.
Tom Gezo
Well, thanks to one of our newest CFMC partners – Tom Gezo – we have a resource right at our finger tips! Tom Gezo is our resident business coach and will be available every Tuesday morning at the CFMC Nonprofit Resource Center to help you.
So how can Tom help? Do you need someone to talk a new idea through? Stuck on an organizational issue? Need to start sketching out an approach to enhance your plans or brush up your budgets? Not sure where to start on your next event?
These are just the kind of questions where two heads are better than one. Our new “The Doctor is In” program makes available business coaching resources to help you with:

– Strategic planning
– Organizational development
– Financial Planning/Budgeting
– Donor development
– Project Execution
Tom Gezo, our resident business coach will be available to meet on Tuesday mornings. Appointments are preferred – particularly so Tom can be sure to have the best information on hand to help you.
(However, visitors are always welcome to CFMC, and if you have an immediate need, you are always welcome to stop in on Tuesdays to get some quick help!)

About Tom Gezo, PMP
Tom is a business coach, consultant and project management professional specializing in putting Strategy into Action. He is a Certified PMI Project Management Professional as well as a Stanford Certified Project Manager. Tom has volunteered and worked with nonprofit organizations and is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center.
Tom is the founder of TGBC: TGezo Business Consulting, LLC, a consulting practice with expertise in strategic planning, organizational alignment and project execution. Before launching TGBC, Tom worked in the High Tech/Software industry at IBM and Dassault Systemes Americas. He has worked in a variety of leadership roles throughout his career including PMO, project and program management, business development, pricing and contracts.
Tom and his wife Evelyn live in Old Saybrook. They enjoy the many pleasures of coastal CT and being a part of the welcoming small town community.
