Event Description

Celebrating Extraordinary People … Right in our own backyard!

Register and Join Us for a fun afternoon of poetry, giggles, and BOOTS with Leslie Bulion …

Leslie Bulion, Durham resident and award-winning poet, joins us for an engaging (and fun!) discussion as she shares what inspires her science poetry, how she collaborates with illustrators, and why her boots are one of her favorite writing tools.

Leslie has promised us a reading from her poetry collection.  Prepare to amazed!

A longtime supporter of the Sari A. Rosenbaum Fund for Women & Girls, Leslie will share her passion for her community and why supporting women and girls in Middlesex County is so important to her.

We will celebrate Leslie with a surprise for two of our guests. Guests must be present to win.
