Lights, Camera … Thank You!
Basics of Using Video and Photos to Create Great Messages
CFMC Nonprofit Resource Center is teaming up with experts to help you raise awareness and find new ways to say Thank You to your supporters! Register Today!
Everyone loves a picture – either still or in motion. From collages to slideshows to video shorts, there are so many fun and new ways to get people’s attention – and to say Thank You for all you do!
The technology and apps can also be overwhelming. Where to get started? Which app is best? How to find the right “how to” and instructions? Not to mention determining what to include and deciding who has time to be creative …
Not to worry – help is here.
Jason Otrin joins CFMC Nonprofit Resource Center on February 26th at the Essex Library for a fun, free workshop – “Lights, Camera … Thank You! Basics of Using Video and Photos to Create Great Messages.”
Jason (owner of On Course Drones and Greater Things Tech) is a technology fan and pro and does a lot of photographic and video work. Together, we will explore
- how to use smartphones, inexpensive apps, and apps you already have to create Thank Yous for your donors and funders;
- resources, tips and tricks to help you have fun and create a great product;
- and how to set up and develop a YouTube channel (or better utilize it if you already have one).
Who should attend? Anyone in your organization! Staff, Board and Committee members, and enthusiastic volunteers are welcome – and of any age! No one is ever “too old” or “too young” to learn new tools and help out their favorite nonprofits.
While this workshop is designed for the “newby,” “casual,” and “novice” user of video, photography, and the various apps – everyone is welcome to attend! Everyone can use a refresher – and, of course, we are always looking for ways to bring partners and mentors together to share information.
