Futures established Good Cause Gifts and The Kitchen, social enterprises that provide training and competitive employment in the retail and food service industry. Both are dedicated to creating and sustaining innovative jobs at competitive wages for individuals with neuro diverse and other abilities.
The Community Foundation of Middlesex County provided a grant to Futures, Inc. for a “grab and go” refrigerator for the Kitchens at Futures, Inc. program in Middletown. Our friends sent us a very special thank you to share with all our supporters who help us support our nonprofits and their important programs and services.

Thanks to the support and generosity of the Peach Pit Foundation and our donors, we awarded $1,000 grants to each of our public libraries in Middlesex County. There was just one restriction – spread some joy, have some fun! The results have been incredible! John Boccalatte and Judy Schoonmaker, CFMC Board of Directors, Sharon Griffin and Jessica Scheff of the Peach Pit Foundation, and Ellen Paul of the East Hampton Public Library share highlights of how these grants are brining joy to our friends and neighbors in so many ways.

The Griffin Family, through the Peach Pit Foundation, is a longtime member of the Leadership Circle and the sponsor of the annual luncheons for the CFMC Leadership Circle. Each year, CFMC and the Griffin Family welcome Leadership Circle members at the luncheon during which members hear about the work of CFMC and have an opportunity to learn more about the impact of grants through nonprofits serving our 15 towns.
