Wow! Really, that is all we can say! You made our celebration of local nonprofits a great success – and submitted an incredible variety of organizations doing great things in Middlesex County.
We believe every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact in our community – and so do you. Several anonymous donors stepped forward to help us support the Pop Up Grant Initiative, and we can’t say thank you enough. Your generosity and commitment to helping our nonprofit community is humbling.
Throughout the summer, 292 individuals nominated 77 nonprofits for our pop-up grant drawings.
Thank you to all the friends and fans who nominated your favorite nonprofit organization. Your appreciation of the work they do is evident – and we know your support means a great deal to all of the nonprofits listed below and so many others in our community.
Did you miss the video chats with our recipients? You can catch up with all nine (9) here.
(Artists for World Peace, The Buttonwood Tree, East Haddam Historical Society, Everyone Outside, Pandemonium Rainforest Project, Shared Harvest Garden, Shoreline Arts Alliance, Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, and Wesleyan Potters)
We wish we could have given a pop up grant to each and everyone. Yet, while we may not have drawn the organization for a pop up grant, each and everyone is remarkable and important to our community. Here are all of the incredible nonprofit organizations nominated during the Pop Up Grant initiative – we encourage you to visit them online and on social media to learn about the incredible things they are doing every day to make an impact in Middlesex County.
