Welcome Lilly Person

We are thrilled to welcome Lilly Person to the Community Foundation of Middlesex County! Lilly has joined our team as an Intern for the summer of 2024.

Lilly, a rising Sophomore at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), is from West Chester, Pennsylvania and staying with family in Middlesex County this summer. At UCONN, Lilly is pursuing a degree in finance which she hopes will lead her to a career of working with people and problem solving. So far one of her favorite courses focused on human development and the study of family and relationships. As she finishes her core classes, she looks forward to taking more courses within her major.

At UCONN, Lilly is on the Women’s Club Volleyball team and is a Corporate Partnership Captain for  HuskyTHON 2025. HuskyTHON is a year-long philanthropic effort at UCONN to raise funds and awareness for Connecticut Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. HuskyTHON is entirely student-run and one of the top 10 dance marathons in the country. They certainly are lucky to have Lilly on their team!

Lilly has volunteered for a variety of causes in the past such as dog walking for an animal shelter and crafting letters to those heading off to college who lost their parents to cancer. At CFMC, she enjoys working on a wide variety of projects and appreciates the exposure to all the great work our many nonprofits are doing throughout Middlesex County.

We’re delighted and honored to have Lilly on board. In fact, we’ve asked if she can take her courses online at 49 Main Street, Middletown. (We wish she could!)
