CFMC Approved $2.1M in Grant Awards in 2024

2024 once again proved to be a year of thinking locally and giving locally in our region. Middlesex County neighbors joined other donors and Fund advisors at CFMC and established 19 new Funds, bringing the total number of Funds to 345. This collective effort provided a greater impact for all. In fact, thanks to the generosity of our community, 576 grants totaling $2,102,227 were approved to support vital, local nonprofit programs and services in 2024. This is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together. Read on for some examples of what was accomplished in just one year – TOGETHER.

Because of your support, people of all ages and abilities were provided with opportunities to expand their horizons. For example, you helped neurodiverse young adults access assistive technology helping them to build confidence and independence for long-term success. At-risk children and youth connected with mentors and resources needed to navigate daily life decisions as well as to prepare for the future. Local artists were given the opportunity to perform in chorus concerts while some young people learned more about their local natural world, wildlife and birds through field trips and hands-on activities, for the first time ever.

Believe it or not, there’s even more. Your caring ways helped individuals experiencing homelessness find permanent housing, provided diapers and hygiene products to families in need, and your gifts even kept our furry and feathered friends safe through critical veterinary care. Together, we have helped expand access to Middlesex County’s great outdoors and natural surroundings, and you even helped blaze new trail systems for all to enjoy! Your contributions do make a difference in our local communities, and for that, CFMC is grateful. We celebrate your passion and your partnership in working together to make great things happen.

At CMFC we like to say that “You and your gift are the ‘gifts that keep on giving’.” Your gift, no matter the size, does make an impact on all our lives through support of a broad spectrum of local nonprofit programs and services, including those related to animal welfare, civic improvements, community enrichment, education, the environment, health, recreation, and social services. Thanks to you, CFMC was able to maximize every gift, aid our nonprofits, and serve our community’s rising and changing needs.
