The Deep River Cares Fund at CFMC is pleased to announce that it is funding, or funding in part, three grant awards to organizations serving the Deep River community through the CFMC fall competitive application process.
Thanks to generous contributions to the Deep River Cares Fund as well as support from other Funds at CFMC, grants will support:
- Deep River Elementary School’s after school programs to enrich the student educational experiences at the Kindergarten through Third Grade level.
- Deep River Public Library’s immersive chess for the children, teens, and adults program.
- A Little Compassion and The Nest’s New Employment Skills Training (N.E.S.T.) program.
In addition, DRCF awarded three (3) Pop Up grants in 2024. Pop Up grants are small, nomination-based “surprises” to show our local nonprofits that they truly do make a difference and the community appreciates them. Thanks to community nominations at the Deep River Farmers Market and the Deep River Community Day, DRCF surprised the Deep River Land Conservation Trust, Deep River Public Library, and Tri-Town Youth Services with these special grants.
The Deep River Cares Fund at CFMC supports local nonprofits and other qualified organizations in their work to serve Deep River and its residents. The Fund is a “A Hug for Deep River” to help meet the needs of current and future generations.
