The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977 is a U.S. federal law encouraging banks and depository institutions to meet the credit needs of their entire communities, especially low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, to combat redlining and promote economic fairness. Not required for Sponsorship Consideration, we are committed to assisting Ascend Bank in tracking certain information that aids in demonstrating Ascend's commitment to our community and investment in certain programs and services that may meet the CRA guidelines. Organizations receiving grants from the Ascend Bank Fund at the Community Foundation of Middlesex County must promote their funding awards according to the marketing and public relations guidelines established by the Community Foundation. By signing the application below, the CEO/Executive Director/Board President understands the Community Foundation’s marketing and public relations requirements if awarded a grant.
