CFMC Meaningful Monday Episode 47 Amy Hollis, Shoreline Soup Kitchens Pantries
Episode 47 – Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries (SSKP) serves 11 towns through 5 pantry locations, 9 hot meal sites, and a children’s backpack program. It’s no surprise that Amy Hollis, SSKP’s Executive Director, is deeply committed to the issue of hunger and to ensuring the shoreline community is doing something about it.
Amy shares the incredible work of SSKP and its importance within our community. She discusses the amount of food distributed and the impact within our shoreline community. In fact, did you know that SSKP processed and distributed 1.7 million pounds of food in 2024? Or that 30% (or roughly 30,000) of people in our community need help with basic needs? And most importantly to the SSKP mission of serving our community, 800 active volunteers give of their time and their talent to ensuring their neighbors have access to food.
Tune in as Amy joins Cynthia Clegg to discuss the work of SSKP and ways you can help our community every day.
