Community Foundation of Middlesex County, The Nature Conservancy Launch Equitable Conservation Initiative Pilot project to increase awareness and access to 1122-acre Burnham Brook Preserve The Community Foundation of Middlesex County (CFMC) and The Nature Conservancy in Connecticut (TNC in CT) announced a new pilot project to expand access to Burnham Brook Preserve as well as conservation initiatives and experiences in the Preserve region. Summer Camp – Summer Fun

Oh What Fun We Had! Summer – a time of sunshine, friends, and activities galore. Middlesex County has an abundance of camps and summer programs to choose from – all with one thing in common, helping our youth create memories and friendships, all while having a lot of fun. The advisors of the M. Jones Fund at the Community Foundation loved camp when they were growing up. They recall the friendships, the adventures, and the laughter – of their own summer days. Honoring Eileen Marie Kelly

Family and Friendship Forever Eileen Marie Kelly was a longtime resident and volunteer of Cromwell. There was no act too big nor too small when it came to helping others – family, friends, neighbors, and strangers who were truly just friends waiting to happen. She lived with a traumatic brain injury brought on by an Arterial Venous Malformation. Since her unexpected death two years ago, her cousin, Kasey Harding and her family have been working on how they could honor Eileen’s life and love of Cromwell.
